Verb Clinic®

Modern Standard Arabic Verb Clinic® is a digitized learning tool for Arabic verbs. It includes over 20,000 verb conjugations in text and audio form, and includes features such as negation, passive forms, customized printing, and automatic quiz generation.

Ba'alty (My Shop) بقالتي

Ba'alty is a game designed to teach entrepreneurial skills and micro-loan management to working/unschooled children in Egypt. The goal of the game is to begin as a street vendor with a 100 LE (Egyptian pound) loan from a relative and, through making smart business decisions, eventually build a supermarket empire. The game was developed over a 2 year period, with input from child entrepreneurs in Aswan Egypt, the Egyptian Association for Community Initiatives and Development (EACID), Partners for Technology in Education (PTE), and Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA). Funding was provided by the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).
